Warren Sapp was fat to, they all are, they are big and fat, but what you would think is fat is mostly muscle. They look sorta fat and outa shape, but you don't really know if they would be considered fat unless you were one of the teams training staff and could do tests and all that stuff. But I do agree that Phat Pat is getting up there and probably only has a year or two left of good football.
Yeah - I'm sure Big Pat is doing 2-3 hundred crunches a day to develop that big stomach muscle.

yeah hes probably doing something else 2-3 hundred times a day to develop that stomach.

our defense will be dtermined by how often our offense scores, teams probably wont run at us this year ether if we cant score all they how to do is controll the ball and tire our defense down and continue their assault in the air! we have a rough schedule wit teams they have goo defenses, unless our defense are ball hawking and scoring touchdowns, i dont see how we can win the one of the worse scoring offenses in the league.

Well first, that post was pretty damn hard to read.
Punctuation and paragraphs will go a long way...

Second, ball control and TOP are usually achieved through running the ball, something that you (and I) believe teams won't do much of against us.
And besides, teams change over the offseason.
Just because we had an admittedly anemic offense last year does not mean that it will be more of the same this year.

Last year we had BJ as our starting QB for the majority of the year.
Now we have TJ, Brooks, or maybe someone else.
    Will they be better?
    Who knows?
But they won't be the same.

WR has a different look too.
Lots of young players getting chances.
Lots of chances for both greatness and disappointment.

The OL currently is pretty close to last year's, but I expect a change or two before training camp starts.

    What about defense?
Well for starters, James will be back and Udeze will go back to his side, which will make a big difference in out pass rush.

Last year we had a linebacker playing Mike who wasn't well suited for it.
He was a good athlete, but just not for that position.
This year it looks like EJ will have it.
    Better? Dunno.
    But different.

Last year we had Smoot at CB.
I actually liked smoot, but it doesn't matter any more.
The CB corps is different this year too.
As is the Safety corps with the addition of Doss.

I could go on and on.
The fallacy that we are fielding the same team as last year is exactly that, a fallacy.
I can't guarantee that we will be a better team, but we will definately be a different team.
Conceding to the fact that we will have one of the worst offenses and a porous pass defense just because we did last year is premature.
