    Re: Vikings cut Bryant McKinnie

Guy was underperforming on an OL that continues to underperform. New blood was needed. When we first got him I was excited. Last couple years I would iso on him during plays and came away very unimpressed. He looked lazy and slow. Need some blocking for Peterson this year.

McKinnie.. Isn't that the guy who'd get burnt by a pass rusher allowing a sack then stand there like a doofus watching Favre peel himself off the turf?

    Is this that guy?

Yeah, that was pathetic. If you're fat, lazy, and letting your QB get murdered, the least you can do is offer a hand to get him up.

Trying to pass block more than then a simple push off on the DE would have been a nice touch too.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus is seeking $2.5 million for former Vikings OT Bryant McKinnie, according to an email he has sent to all 32 NFL teams.

According to moving the chains today on sirius radio Childress was on and said he heard McKinnie's cholesterol levels were through the roof and that cutting McKinnie had as much to do with his health $ safety as well I guess his lack of dedication to the team

well hope McKinnie appreciates that aspect of things, though bet he'll choose to ignore it. No sign of him getting snapped up yet so guess he'll be waiting for a team to be looking for OL depth or have an injury to a starter. Is there any timescales in which he has to be signed by in order to play this season? Sure I read that, if the Vikes kept thim, then he would need to have been off the NFI list before season start to play, does the same apply when signing elsewhere?
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...
