Actually I think the Vikes need to run AWAY from Demarcus Ware. He is extremely good at run defense. He is a lot bigger and stronger than most teams realize. No team this year has had success running at him. I think the Vikes would have more succeess running at Jay Ratliff (Nose Tackle) who replaced Jason Furguson. He's lighter in the pants than Furguson and if the Vikes center can win some one on one battles against him they make be able to control the clock.4. Attack Demarcus Ware. The guys as talented as they come. We should run it straight at him to neglect his athleticism.
5. Pass protection. This is the first 3-4 defense we're going to play this year. Tarvaris most likely will be confused so the line needs to hold up bigtime!
Agree?
Pass protection is also going to be tough. Ware is a beast, as is Greg Ellis and Anthony Spencer. The Dallas secondary make be very suspect but they do have one of the best from 7's in the league.

Re: Vikings - Cowboys pre-game articles
Adrian's father only gives Adrian a Bplus, for his game against Chicago... whew that's some tough critic'n He forgot to switch the ball over to his other arm so his dad downgraded him. No wonder why AP is so humble...
Darren Sharper gets a little scouting from a Dallas perspective... They say he's lost a step...Hmmm, have they looked at there own R. Williams #31. I believe he will be exploited by our game plan this Sunday.

Re: Vikings - Cowboys pre-game articles
Rice + Twill should have a great time jumpin of royW
but that only happens when
1. CT bulls the center of the run D for the cowgirls
2. AP torches the outside, inside, and all around cowgirl defenders.
3. Tjack lays out the perfect play action movements.. and hits his wr's in stride!!
we need to be in sync to beat them.. and from what i saw we are getting closer and closer to having just that.
as for the D side..
No SLIPPING or FALLING from our CB's and saftey's.
more preasure from the front 4
and we NEEEED to stop the run dead!

Vikings give opposition something to think about
The offense is finally starting to show a pulse, which makes preparation and scheming a little more difficult for defenses.

It was just a glimpse, but ... but ... yes! It's there. A healthy twinge of swagger has emerged among the Vikings offense, an attitude missing since the days of Randy Moss, Daunte Culpepper and Robert Smith..........

Three weeks ago, Antoine Winfield successfully lobbied the Vikings' coaches to allow him to cover Green Bay wide receiver Donald Driver for the entire game. But the veteran cornerback had no such request this week regarding Terrell Owens.....

Re: Vikings - Cowboys pre-game articles
Antoine W can cover his guy, it's Whitten that concerns me. We just have to really have our A game against the Cowpaddies. We can't play scared, we have to attack and cover. It would be great to see us line up in a three- four defense just to give homo a few different looks. Pass rush really has to contain and get after him. Keep him in the pocket, but force early off balance throws. We need some turnovers in crucial situations. Then we might just get another road win against a very good team.
