Tied the 1961 expansion team for worst start at 1-7. No Viking team has ever started 1-8, not the '61 expansion team, not even Steckel. We could make history Thursday night.

His lack of focus on the sideline was a problem too. One of the coaches was on the sideline with Ponder going thru the game photos & trying to point things out to him to help him with his game. Ponder would have none of that and was looked away to laugh & yuk it up with someone off camera.

His lack of interest in listening & paying attention to the coach might explain why Ponder isn't learning or progressing like he should.

1: Defense played well until the last (predictable) drive. on that one they reverted to the Defense we've seen all season.

    2: Ponder still sucks.

    3: Peterson deserves better.

4: UNSUNG HERO OF THE GAME = Chase Ford #86.

On Peterson's TD, Adrian was in the process of going over backwards when Ford showed up and LIFTED ADRIAN UP, allowing Adrian to get his feet under him and drive forward.

Atta boy, Chase!!! you've instantly become one of my new favorite players.

Ponder is still initial read and if not there pull it down and run. He seems happy when he runs for yardage not understanding his failure as a qb. Fumble in end zone killed us as well as 3 and out after pick. Predictable outcome.

He also had all day to throw that pass. It wasn't what I'd call a Hail Mary, it was more like a Fail Mary.
