Despite the fact that I am a die-hard Denver Broncos fan, here in South Dakota you don't hear much other than Vikings football, so I figured I'd throw my two cents in on their situation...

Wow... I actually thought he might have some interesting, non-partisan insight... and then he said this:

Special Teams

The Vikings' special teams really needs no introduction.
They have had one of the strongest special teams units the league has had to offer over the last couple of years.
Chris Kluwe is arguably the top punter in the NFC, and Rian Longwell is virtually automatic at kicker.

and lost all credibility...

He may have some opinions, but he has no real insight and quite obviously very little working knowledge of the team.

same here i thought it was good until that part.. obviously he doesn't know how terrible ST was last year

I've heard this guy on Sirius NFL Radio...at LEAST 50% of the PP.O posters know more about football than this guy, as several of you have already pointed out.
Just another internet hack with nothing other than ill informed rambling about a topic he doesn't know enough about to state an educated point of view.

Here, I'll finish his article:
Given all of my bullshit observations and clueless claims, I believe the Vikings will be contenders in 2009.

regardless of the fact that was a really amateur article... you have to be appreciative looking at this picture.. its great to be able to say I'm a fan during a time when I can watch a defense that features these behemoths:

Thats a fucking sweet group of players right there, we're all so pessimistic here all the time, but hey, you get to watch these guys play every week - it could be a LOT worse, we're pretty lucky.
