The Vikings also made their presence felt in Hawaii by making a difference in the local community. Tony Richardson teamed up with friend and former Chiefs teammate Tony Gonzalez early in the week, and then Richardson was joined by Peterson and Kevin and Pat Williams in a visit to Kapi'olani Medical Center to visit youngsters who are ill.

I love to see them active in the community.

VikingUpdate did a whole spread on the Vikes and thier role in the community.
Never knew how active some of the players really are.
None the less, it was a very interesting read as was this article.

We are very active in the community. In fact Richardson was involved in the
house building of Extreme Makeover Home Addition when the mom and friend was murdered by the ex and the kids went to live with her sister in Minnetonka. He made sure that the Vikings were a BIG part of that. And it wasnt his 1st time building homes for unfortuanate families. KUDOS to our beloved VIKES! GIVING BACK! The Key to success
