childress actually sounded intelligent
"That comes from delusion, and delusion is ignorance of the facts," Childress said. "We didn't want to get sucker-punched by delusion. If you identify the facts and the facts are that we need to make sure we take care of business ... we'll be fine. If we're casual about the next team, casualness leads to casualties."

Some very nice reads my friend.
Thanks.
Funny how articles like this get no comments now, however, 4-8 weeks ago this stuff would have been littered with all kinds of jibberish.
Winning solves everything I guess.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

I don't hear much about Chiller haters anymore.
I don't see anymore "Stop the TJack Project" (although I was one of those after the Dallas game).
It's a totally different story now.
It's not only winning but it's how they are doing it.
It's with confidence and devistation.
That's the kind of football Viking fans want to see.
Now that they are showing glimpses of superstardom they can all see the improvements and have a lot to look forward to even after the season no matter what happens.
I always thought there was talent there.
The only doubt I was having was with TJack.
I knew he was young but what was bothering me was the timing.
I've always said how competitive they were even with a bad QB situation.
Now that the QB is playing much improved, they are showing how competitive they really are.
That's good becasue it can keep good vets around and attract some in during the off-season.
There is a reason why Curtis went to the Eagles over the Vikings and it certainly wasn't for money.
If TJack can continue to step it up other FAs or players on the trading block will want to come to MN.
Can you imagine, Fitzy or Chad Johnson opposite of Rice?
I would love to see either one.

Well done.
One comment though, I don't believe anything hinders this staff (not just the Chiller) from luring quality FA's to the mix.
They will come if Bryzcheapski (and the rest of the staff) will come off the right bucks to get them here.
Rationale is take a look at our vets on this team that were brought in as FA's.
Most, if not all of them are very well respected within the league (i.e. Phat Pat, T-Rich, Hutch, Leber, Doss) and all appear to be very happy here even during the tough times.
Even though some still won't admit it, this organization is a good one to play for.
Again, I see no issue with getting a top flight DE (He would play next to the Will-Wall) and a good CB (they would have some damn good LB's in front of them) and a quality WR in for thte start of next year.
I think some of the hesistancy with that plan this year (with respect to bringing in a bunch of FA) was a it was labeled by this organization as a" Developmental Year".
Why pay for a Vet QB if TJ worked out, why pay for a DE if our DE's worked out, why pay for a quality CB if our young guys worked out ect etc etc.
Now that we know what we have at all positions (starters and backups alike) I look to see the staff bring in guys to fix the problems we now have as well as putting together another great draft which would then really make us a team to contend with. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
