Thread: Vikings @ Chargers Predictions

Sorry to disappoint, but with the lack of playing time & preparation in week 4 of the preseason, with several new starters at key positions & Bernard Berrian being our *cough* deep threat, the Vikings lose this one.

I hope to hell I'm wrong & AD has another huge game against the Chargers.

I have no idea how to call this one.

Cant predict against my boys..

AP racks up 215 yards and 2 TDs

Vikings lose 38-21

This one is tough to predict. The SD's DC is the same DC that held AD to 3 yards on 14 carries a few years ago with SF.

Chargers - 20

AD is obviously going to go nuts on em. But we will get away from the run game because we will be behind early and often. Rivers and those 6'5 monsters he has to throw to are going to do whatever they want against our secondary. We will keep it close for a while, but the game will never really be in doubt for the Chargers.

28-21 Chargers.

Big game for Adrian. Big game for Rivers. Think this is going to be a shoot out. Don't know the over/under, but I'd take over. In the end, I don't think our offense will be able to keep up the score-gy and we'll lose by a mid-high single digit number (6-9 points).

This will not be an indication of how our season will go if things go poorly. However, if things click for us, then the season is our proverbial oyster. SKOL!

Vikes blitz the crap outta rivers not giving him time to throw deep. The receivers are SLOW, but Tall. Their only thread is deep down field, not short. So you send the heat, force a hot pass, and pick it off. I say we bring our fastest corner off the edge(Marcus Sherels) and have Ced n Cook on Jackson n Floyd.

We control our game with play action deep, and peterson runs.. I see The Vikes winning 21-7
