Vikings: Champs or Chumps?

Minnesota Vikings: Champs or Chumps?

The more I read about the NFC North these days, the more I read comments of this nature:

"The Vikes will dominate the NFC North!!", "Adrian Peterson will have 7,000 yards rushing!!!", or even "This is the best defense the NFL has ever seen!!", and we can't forget "Tarvaris Jackson is the best quarterback in the NFC!!!"...

Julius Buelow..... really? I guess he's trying to keep our heads from swelling too much. But by midseason next year we will be clicking on all cylinders and will be heading for homefield advantage through the playoffs... til we are Champs. Take that Blowhole Buelow. :-X

While those last three are exaggerations
Try all of them genius. The defense could become true if they gel well together.

It looks like Jobius Buelow has no idea what he is talking about.

How does a team that ADDS the NFL's leading sack artist, a huge upgrade at WR, a modest upgrade at SS...AND brings everyone of significance from last season back again NOT improve.
Add to that the fact that TJack will improve, even moderately, and you get a better season almost AUTOMATICALLY (barring injury of course).

What a dilhole.

I agree with some of his assessment of last years performance.
His quote, "Until their defense can defend the pass consistently" is obviously correct, THUS the reason J Allen, M Williams, and T Johnson were added.
But he ignored this, so his assessment of the Vikes D is flawed.

He's also right about teams figuring out how to stop AD and CT.
8-9 men in the box.
What he again ignores is the maturing of Rice and Jackson and the addition of BB.

If the Vikes were putting the same team on the field as last year, I wouldn't be very optomistic.
Might get close to the playoffs again.
But the Vikes are NOT, they are putting a much improved team on the field.
This is why Vike fans are optomistic, because the Vikes have made moves to fix all the problems he mentioned.

The Vikings defense is going to be badass this year, way better than most people realize.

That combined with AP = playoffs, baby !!
;D

I do think that we win the NFC North with ease. What we do after that depends on some things. I do see us as a 10-6 or 11-5 team this year.

After that, it depends on who is QB and how well he has "developed" (god, I hate that word).

thats right.. it's almost like he just looked at our roster from last year and applied it to this year.

did he know that we had an active FA-gency?
i m better than you, so just give up...
