The Dec. 6 matchup between the Vikings and Arizona Cardinals has been changed from a 3:15 p.m. CST start to a 7:30 p.m. CST start time as a part of the NFL's flex scheduling.
This rematch of last year's week 15 matchup, which the Vikings won 35-14, will now air on NBC.
Both teams are currently in first place in their respective divisions, with the 9-1 Vikings holding a three-game lead over the Chicago Bears, who they play this Sunday at Mall of America Field at H.H.H. Metrodome.
The Cardinals, meanwhile, are 7-3 and also hold a three-game lead in the NFC West over the San Francisco 49ers.
Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

A couple of days prior to the game there will be some deals to be had.

I was wondering about when we'd get flexed to Sunday Night Football while watching this last SNF matchup.
Good, I love primetime games.

Re: Vikings - Cardinals (Dec 6) game flexed to 7:30 pm CST Start time
I thought this one had a pretty good shot at getting flexed that week.
I think they want to get Favre on prime time as much as possible ... but they will not want to flex out the Eagles vs. Giants game later to do it ... so this one makes sense.
They are flexing out the Dolphins and Patriots for this too ... a couple of solid ratings draws. Shows a lot of what Favre has done for us nationally.

Wasn't there another thread on this were someone was pretty convincing that this wouldn't happen?
http://www.purplepride.org/forums/in...,54046.40.html
I really don't see any games being flexed this year.
Too much NFC East involved. For the Vikes-Cardinals game to be flexed, NBC (and the NFL - remember, NBC can't just decide "We don't want this game" and have it happen - the NFL needs to approve) would need to feel that flexing New England OUT of Sunday night (it's NE @ MIA) is a good business decision.
I'm not sure that I can see them doing that.
I think it's far more likely that Fox nationalizes MIN @ ARZ as the primary game in the 3:15 slot..There are only 3 games left that have any chance of being flexed IN - @ARZ, home vs. CIN and home vs. NYG.
I've already explained why the first two are not going to happen (although, IMHO, it's more certain that the CIN game won't get moved).
Week 17 is a crapshoot - AND the NFL doesn't have to announce the Week 17 game until six days prior to the game, rather than almost two weeks prior, as it does for all other flex games
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.
