C.J. Brooks
Grade: 3.43
Position: OG
Class: Sr
School: Maryland
Conference: ACC
Ht., Wt.: 6-5.5, 309
40 Time: 5.18
Grading System
BIO: Four-year starter who.s been an All-Conference pick the prior two seasons. Started at left tackle during his freshman campaign before being pushed inside to guard.
POSITIVES: Athletic, wall-off blocker with good size and playing potential. Quickly gets off the snap, turns opponents off the line run blocking or anchors in pass protection. Patient, stays square and blocks with leverage. Works well with linemates. Solid position blocker who seals defenders from the action. Works his hands throughout the play. Big hand and powerful arm punch.
NEGATIVES: Not explosive at the point run blocking. Slow picking up assignments. Marginal athlete.
ANALYSIS: A consistent and durable player who has shown ability at several positions, Brooks has been reliable in college. May not possess the speed to be used as blind-side tackle, yet offers growth potential and should improve his already solid run blocking.
PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round

I really like the fact that the vikings are working out so many ppl, I guess they are trying to find the diamond in the ruff...I also like the fact that just cause they work out some guys they dont sign to many or they dont stay long.
Just goes to show you they are being picking and making sure they have the right player for the organization...What we got here is a failure to communicate.

just what i was thinkin..
they have looked at a lot of players and should be able to find what they need when it comes time to signing someone.
I wonder what they have that our prac squad boys don't have.

He's making decent money and sitting the bench.
Mr. False Start / Holder can go play somewhere else.
Hey maybe they can uyse Rosey as a place kick holder.
He knows how to hold defenders.
By the way, that's just sarcasm in case someone wants to slam me for that.
You can slam me anyway.
I need that every once in a while.
