    Pretty spendy price tag with more to come just to build the stadium downtown.

    Just the fact that it's being built downtown will add millions to the cost to the stadium vs. if it were built elsewhere.

    Yes it will.
    But the support simply isn't there for it to be built elsewhere.
    Minneapolis and Hennepin county are pretty strong players in the legislature, and putting the new stadium downtown puts them on our side.
