I gotta agree with Mr A

Hines is overrated.. He is good at everything tho.. Can block can run good routes.. Good hands

Not great at anything.. Just a good WR.. But people put him in elite status

And Romo should be number 1 like people said.. Owens made him

I can see Favre as most overrated, or at least most over-exposed.
He's played well the first four weeks, but there are much better QBs over the past few years that have gotten a lot less media coverage.

I hope for the Vikings sake that he plays well enough to be off the overrated list by the end of the year.
But I guess if he plays well and opinions don't change, that would be fine too.

I agree with the hurt part. Not so much with the not good part. Just look at how that entire defense changes when he's in. They can put him in the box, stop the run more effectively, and don't miss a beat in the passing defense department.

I'd like to throw in Eli Manning for the most overrated QB. Although he is getting better and better.

As for underrated... what do you guys think about Donald Driver? Hines Ward is getting way more love than Driver, yet, they seem to be very similar. Very physical and a jack of all trades. Driver just doesn't break jaws etc. and always stay humble.

I wouldn't say Hines is overhyped.
He blocks like a TE and is fearless across the middle.
He may not be a gamebreaking WR, but he is solid in all facets of his game, much unlike most WRs in the league.
He may not make the huge plays week in and week out which makes you an ELITE Wr in this league, but he does make a significant contribution every single week, even if it doesnt show up in the box score.
