Vikings are big draw even in big loss

According to a news release from NBC, its prime-time game was the No. 1 broadcast on Sunday night for the 11th time in 12 weeks. The game beat several programs and out-rated "Desperate Housewives" on ABC by 71 percent.
Vikings are big draw even in big loss
Marrdro's comment follows:
Imagine how high thier share would be if they had decent announcers.

You don't like Al Micheals?
I don't mind him.. He has good input
Collinsworth I could deal without.. he's pretty smart, but annoying

I guess I'm automatically gonna dislike anyone they put in the box as my distaste for that channel starts with thier pre-game guys.
Love the addition of Tony but you can keep the rest of those chuckleheads.

The one thing that pissed me off was the one time (at least once) where they went to a booth shot of Michaels and Collinsworth while the game was going on. Granted, it was between plays, but I didn't tune into the game to see Al and Chris's faces and talking heads. If the players are on the field, that's where the camera should be. Spare us from the talking heads other than before kickoff and during halftime.

I think that if we were sitting down over a few barley pops, you would find we would agree on alot of things. ;)

Ha, little do you know. You should see my lovely bride during a game.
My daughter called during the game to see if "Mom" had shot anyone yet.
Long story short, ole Wildwoman is a tough one to watch a game with. :woohoo:

Still think my idea is the only way to watch a game.....
Something to Think About As We Watch the Game
.....unless you can see it live.

I love Collinsworth.
Then again, I appear to be the only one who loves to listen to Chris Berman, as well.
Anyway, sunday night game, Favre, Peterson, Warner, staying quite close at first, upset win. It just had to have some good ratings.
