Fantastic. I'm so happy right now.
0-2 out of the gate, and I'm pretty sure you can write us off now. Chicago isn't that great a team, and they turned the ball over like crazy. We still managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We had a golden opportunity to put a nail in the coffin, and settled for three. What a fuckin' joke.
Be prepared to watch the team spiral out of control, now.
Was impressed with Ponder in the 2nd half.
First Half: 6/14 81 yds
Second Half: 10/16 146 yds
Second half much better than the first, even though we couldn't finish a drive with a TD. We went back to running the ball and short passes, which was the right call. Ponder cannot throw deep, so stop making those calls. And WHY ARE WE STILL ROLLING LEFT?
Watching that last bears drive? I told my wife: "Bears will score. Watch" This team, the play calling, the qb play? Garbage all around. What gets me the most? Watching the vikes go three and out basically the ENTIRE 1st half. The suck. Period. I said it: THE SUCK. You must embrace it. Musgrave is a gd toolbag. s this the vikes game plan? LET THE OPPOSING TEAM HAVE THE BALL THE ENTIRE FIRST F*CKING HALF? Guess so.
Definitely would have been heart-breaking if I wasn't so used to it by now.
Hopefully we can pick up a win next week at the dome.
Did anyone not expect the Bears to score, seriously?
Frasier needs to go before Ponder does... Another defensive collapse. All day the flats were open and their TEs and RBs did whatever they wanted out of the backfield. Absolutely no adjustments made to stop it, and the game winner came on the TE just wheeling out wide open. This is the reason he isnt getting a contract extension. The Tampa 2 sucks because it is too soft and allows players to run free in zones allowing them to just move easily down the field. Good riddance Frasier.
In the past I may have been devastated by a loss like this but the saddest part of this game is that the end result was anticipated and expected.I think my give a shit is busted
