Heh, these are my options man:
    1. Go to a bar to watch the game.
    2. Look at live game stats on espn gamecast.
    3. Don't watch the game.
If you lived here in VA I'd let ya in my house
    ;D

How come you can't do the Directv thing.
$$ or no place for the dish?
I could put the dish on my porch. Tons of people in my apartment complex have dishes, but my apartment just happens to face the wrong way, so no signal for me.
Move to an apt. that faces the SW.
There is this thing called a lease. If you break it bad things happen.

Everytime I start a thread like this in turns into a "you should get directtv" discussion. I'm a smart guy people,I have considered the options.

I know there are some amazing vikings bars out there, why can't we just talk about them for a change?
I can honestly say I don't think I have ever watched a game in a bar.

Might try it once this year just to see what all the hubbub is.

    Did a google.
    This place looks the best.
    You ever been there?

That's where I went last year. Not really my type of place. Average food, iffy people. I will say though that it is definetly a legit Vikings Bar. The game is on two big screens and there are 10-15 other vikings fans to sulk with.

    After
checking out their site, I can see what you meen V....Looks a little to clicky and redneck mix to me.....And all the girls looked like they are ready to enter a rib eating contest.....

But hey, they show the Vikings games, so they can be all that bad....

I LOVE THE SMELL OF VICTORY IN THE MORNING AIR.

Did anybody notice through that link how many Vikings bars there are in San Antonio? I'm thinking they all got started during the Red era because they were hoping the team would eventually move down there.

    We're still in Minny baby!

    V,

Y9u need to find the girl in your complex, that gets Direct Tv and the NFL Package......Hopefully she has big hooters to......Then invite yourself to watch the games with her....LOL

This is the best advice you were given IMO. Just make sure she has a big screen or projector and the HD package. She may also have some hot friends to liven up the party.

    Who maintains this list?
Two of the three listed in Fargo are closed now, and it doesn't even mention Tailgators, BW3's or Big Daddy's...
I assume Webby. Let him know in a PM so he can get it updated.

He doesn't keep tabs on all these bars. Word of mouth is the best way to keep it up to date.

I found this link to be much more helpful. I think they come from the same source but this one has been updated as of 3 weeks ago.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I do also go to the bar to watch the games the old fashion way.
Which brings up a great question for all you PPO peeps.
I have a 1 year old son (turned one on 7/21/07) and my g/f works doubles on the weekends so she's able to stay home with him during the week while i work.
On sundays this year I wanted to go to the sports bar to watch the game and eat food etc, but is it frowned upon that I would bring my son to this at the ripe age of 1?
What would you think if you where at the bar and I came strolling through with my son to watch the game??
Would you smile then scold me outside with your wife or would you think wow what a fan?
As long as you're not getting wasted then driving home (or letting him drive), or sitting at the table and chain smoking with him there I don't think anyone cares and it's none of their business anyway.

I also am stuck going to bars at
9:30 every Sunday morning due to geographics and the only people I look down at are the Packers fans because their kids don't know any better, they'll be raised to be A-holes and that's just cruel.

This won't be much help if you live in Texas, But if you are in Mankato for training camp you owe it to yourself to spend a few sheckles in Mettlers. It may not be a strictly Vikings bar but the strippers will make you forget about football for a few hours. Longer if you have the cash. ;D

Yeah, and $300 later, your walking out the door with a hard on, and no satisfaction.

True, but for a little more if you ask around you can rent some satisfaction.

If you want to go somewhere that has cheaper drinks and woment that won't give you a stiffy, then go to Packers training camp ;D
