25. Minnesota Vikings - How the mighty have fallen. This offensive juggernaut that once featured Daunte Culpepper-to-Randy Moss now has senior citizen Brad Johnson-to-Koren Robinson/Troy Williamson. If you believe the hype, RB Chester Taylor is the runner the Vikes haven’t had since Robert Smith. But the fact Baltimore elected to retain a hobbled Jamal Lewis over Taylor must surely ring a few alarm bells, even considering the added presence of Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson (whom they plucked from Seattle). The defense did well last season, but Minnesota’s record was inflated against Green Bay and Detroit. Both of those teams appear stronger, and the Vikings are poised to take a step backwards.

I have never heard of this Mr. Figeczki. I can easily tell he loves the Vikings with the usage of the term "pluck" regarding Mr. Hutchinson and his subtle jabs at Mr. Robinson and Mr. Williamson

Who is this nutball? Guess who he has ranked #1? Gee, here's a shock - THE STEELERS!!! And Detroit, Green Bay, Cleveland and Oakland ranked AHEAD of us? Come on... :roll:

Well, until this team shows something, you cant really say much. We did beat bad teams last year and lost to playoff teams. The offence is worse with johnson as the starter, the defence has to show it can stop playoff type offences. The team needs people to step up to prove they are better than 25, until then, i would almost have to agree. I would place them a little higher, maybe 15-20, but if anyone thinks this is a top 10 team your kidding yourself. Part of being a real fan is to accept reality.

Green Bay appears stronger?

you can tell this guy is an idiot. the lowest ive seen us and the lowest i expect to be is 17th. which im not too mad about. but 25th is a disgrace. its cus hes a steeler fan.

Well, we went 9-7 last year, with Mike Tice calling the shots and poor Loney having to be an OC and line coach. We got better players this offseason. Birk is coming back and we're going to be 25th??? Huh??

The only thing I worry about is installing a new O and D in the same season. Could be a slow start while everyone gets on the same page at game speed.

I'm thinking 9-7 again maybe 10-6. But if we are on a roll at the end of the year and make the playoffs, things could go our way.

I can see us experiencing some growing pains, but only 7 teams worse than us?? ....I dont think so.
