    16-0 is played out.

    19-0 is where it's at.

    LOL!!
    Dang Webby!

    Yup.
Much rather go 10-6 regular and get hot in the playoffs and win the superbowl than go 18-D'oh!!
    ;D

When you consider we were top 5 in toughest schedule last season and still went 10-6, and the fact that many of the losing teams from the prior year had enormous turn arounds (ARI, ATL) and that this year we have a bottom 5 toughest schedule...

And, ALL the players we have returning from injury:
EJ, Rice, PatW, Farwell, Gordon, Udeze etc...

And, what looks like a perfect draft, filling our biggest needs at RT and Playmaker early, and then adding good depth not just to CB, S, and LB, but also to STs...

And, the addition of Sage, and all the STs FAs we added:
    Holt, Onatalu, Paymeh, etc

We've quietly addressed all of our biggest needs.
With or without the Favre, we look to be a better all around team, playing against an easier overall schedule.
I am SO looking forward to this season!!!
    ;D

In fact, I just dropped just over a grand at Walmart for a 42" 1080 flat screen, wall mount, and 1000 watt surround sound system.
I DVRed Chilly's first win vs. the Pack yesterday, can't wait to get home from work to watch it!!

Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

Strength of schedule in the NFL is a meaningless (but highly citable) stat.

Agreed that we've made some decent drafting to get some depth strength as well as a potential rock star in Harvin, but I always hate when articles proclaim that X-team didn't do such and such and will rebound the next year because Players X, Y, and Z were injured before, which caused the team to crumble..

EJ will be back, Madieu should play more and everything, but every year, every team has notable injuries to key players. Sure we get EJ back, but who's to say that we don't lose Jared Allen, Winfield, and Peterson to season-ending injuries this year? No team stays 100% healthy. The great teams battle through it and still win. Hopefully, none or few of our best guys go down, but I'm glad that it appears that we've built up some good bench strength over these two past offseasons. We'll see...
