Viking reads
Here are a couple reads...
Entire:It pains me to write this, but here goes: The Minnesota Vikings are going to make the playoffs. You read that right. Not that I'm rooting for the franchise that (boat) cruised its way into our hearts with its Caligula-like antics (though I'm thinking head coach Mike Tice could hook me up with some sweet playoff tickets). The Vikings (4-5) trail the Chicago Bears (6-3) in the NFC North, but the team's improved play and its upcoming games --- Packers (away), Browns (home), Lions (away), Rams (home), Steelers (home), and Baltimore (away) --- make an 8-7 record a real possibility after Christmas Day.

Enitre:Vikings sense turnaround
WEEK 11:Minnesota players' confidence rises after two consecutive victories.
BY KEVIN SEIFERT
MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE
MINNEAPOLIS - As they boarded their charter two weeks ago in Charlotte, N.C., the Minnesota Vikings seemed a defeated bunch. They had just absorbed their fourth road pounding of the season, lost their starting quarterback indefinitely and were the off-field pariahs of the NFL.
And then, according to Winter Park's resident optimists, something happened.

Re: Viking reads
Those are pretty cool. We can't get too high on the Vikes because you know that they will let us down. (as they always do)

Re: Viking reads
I enjoyed both of these reads and have seen a few "experts" starting to jump on the bandwagon. I think that the win in NY really opened the door for us, and the Bears offesne should have some trouble with some of the teams coming up. Skol!!! onward ... and screw 8-7, we are closing the year 6-1 (losing to the Steelers) ... that is right ... I am picking us to win our FINAL FOUR ROAD GAMES OF THE SEASON and get into the playoffs at 10-6, probably still the four seed though because we lose tie-breakers to Atlanta, Carolina and Tampa Bay and I think the East (Dallas) and West (Seattle) winners get to 11 wins for sure and probably the Panthers get there too ... so we are hosting the first round against ... Ill say the Falcons ... so bring it up North Vick and take your beating ...
Whoa ... getting ahead of myself and a little worked up there ...

With Chicago already at 6-3, we really need to get 9 wins minimum to win the division. It pains me to write this, but here goes: The Minnesota Vikings are going to make the playoffs. 4 wins for us isn't as easy as it sounds. We have to keep stepping it up and get more TOs.
