I feel as though I should post this....Don't know if this is the right spot though?

I am pretty sad to see us so divided over a QB. Whether it be Favre, T-Jack, Sage or Jeff George lining up behind the center, we all share the same thing. We LOVE the VIKINGS. I put the Vikings in all caps to show that we root for a team, not just one individual player. Pretty sure we all share the same dream, of the Vikings winning a Super Bowl and being crowned the best team for a year. Something none of us have had the pleasure to see. I could careless who guides us to a Super Bowl aslong as we get there someday.

So take a step back and look at the big picture, future is now, pieces are in place with or without Favre(depending on your perspective). We root for the VIKINGS now and will when Favre is long gone....

Sure I'll get flamed for this post....

Divided? I really only saw a couple people upset. I think divided is a stretch.

Hmmm I guess I need to pay attention more then? Seemed like a lot of hate for Favre before and after he signed...

among fans, yes, among teammates, no.
Guys like Peterson, Allen and Berrian were texting him before, trying to get him to sign.

I still think the majority of the fan base is happy about this.
Otherwise, would the Vikings have sold 2,000 season tickets and 4,000 single game tickets in a matter of HOURS?
Or 1,200 Favre jerseys in that same time frame?

No doubt, there are angered fans.
But I say the vast majority are positive ones.
They are also obviously the loud ones, too.

I can't speak for everyone (although I should
;D), and since I'm one of those who hated and still hate Favre, I can say from my view, there is no real division.
You want [Favre] here, I don't.
Every fan every year has that disagreement about some player on their favorite team.
We are all fans and we all have our own opinions.
I consider that commonplace not a division.
In the end we will all be cheering together at the Vikings wins and crying at their losses.

Which hopefully will be few this season.
