Vikes7-9 says Sports Edge

Not a lot new of interest here but a good read.Kentucky Vikes Fan

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

Like you said, nothing new, just a brief summary of some of the moves.
He's a realist in the record prediction based on all the new stuff and unknowns on the team.
I wouldn't be surprised with a record ranging from 7-9 to 10-6...anything outside of those bounds will surprise me.
I'm still a 9-7er.

Re: Vikes7-9 says Sports Edge
I still say 9-7 or better.
The team was 9-7 last year with a bad coaching staff.
It may be a little early, but it seems like it's been a smooth transition to the West Coast Offense and Tampa 2 defense.

"The secondary is chalk full of All-Pro talent..."

That idiot just lost ALL credibility with me...plus it's obvious he knows NOTHING about the Vikings.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

I agree with Prophet, 9-7 (likely) or 10-6 if we give 100% all season

Re: Vikes7-9 says Sports Edge
i'd say 8-8 at minimum.
the defense has played very well through preseason, and they still have to "jel"
once they tighten up even more, they'll be huge.
as long as the offense does its job and puts up 17+ points a game, i see them winning a lot of games.

Re: Vikes7-9 says Sports Edge
I am still a 9-7er, but 7-9 not shock me.
In fact, I would be more shocked if we went the other way and ended up 11-5.
With all of the changes being implemented this year, we are going to start out slow, and that can have an effect on the team.
It all depends on how strong we finish.
BTW, i_bleed_purple, I agree with you completely.
The defense will be awesome this year.
However, untli the offense starts to pick up, asking them to put up 17 points a game may be a lot.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

A few more injuries and we may be at that 7-9 spot. Hope we do WAY better of course! (11-5) sound niceeeeee.
