    Vikes WR/TE ranked 17

Ranking the WRs and TEs, team-by-team

For proof that head coach Brad Childress learned under Andy Reid, look no further than his decision to try playing the season with little-respected receivers. Travis Taylor, Koren Robinson, Marcus Robinson, and Troy Williamson? The difference between this and Philadelphia is that all four of these players have talent, even if in some cases it has never been fully realized. Meanwhile, Jermaine Wiggins and Jim Kleinsasser form a potent tight end duo, although Wiggins is the one who is a valuable receiver.

Green bay shouldn't be ahead of us though. Sure, they have driver but our recievers have a hell of a lot more potential. Switch those and I'm ok.

I'm not really going to address whether the Vikes are rated properly as #17, because I think somebody from outside the fanbase could make a pretty solid argument that our WR corps has not proved much of anything (#1 productivity from Travis Taylor? No solid receiving stats from either K. Robinson or Williamson, etc..). However, I will note that FOXSports keeps using their own 'special' "DVOA" stat-measuring system that has reaped a lot of criticism and ridicule from lots of folks. Just look at what they say about Randy Moss and how he has been overrated -for a long time- because he has only ranked high in his "DPAR" once in the last 5 years... Gimme a break, 2004 and 2005 have not been great years for him, and he may not ever get back to his old form, but he was great from 2001-2003. FOX -EVERYTHING- is crap.

I was wondering what the hell that was. I guess they like to push their formula down everyone's throat so they can get it into the mainstream. It should be used as one of the tools to analyzie receivers and not the tool...just like any statistical analysis tool.

Now if I saw that, and then did a chick right after, I could die very happy.
