That's the important stuff for this off-season!!
Did we lose any of the rookies to an ACL tear?
You know, if Rachel goes down with a bad case of the hair frizzies, the whole season will be lost!

The MVCs are all doing fine.
I just signed a contract to take care of all their rehab.

Rumour has it that Tarvaris Jackson will be donning an MVC uniform during breaks in the action because of the mighty backflips he's been showing in training camp.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

i am pretty happy with this so far.
    so far so good.
too many uncertainties for a Superbowl run this year.
i will be happy to beat the bears twice and take the division.

I like the way our front line is moving people for the goal line plunges.

i see a lot of those TD's comin from the left side!!!

    Wow.
The most disappointing part for me was the lack of performance by the OL.
Chester Taylor has 18 yards on 9 carries.
Not exactly what I expect from the league's best left side.

I am hoping they begin to gel and work together better soon...

I'm not so sure it is the O-Line that needs work, as much as it is Chester Taylor needs to work on his moves.. If I can recall, BJ wasn't sacked, or even close to being sacked.. I could be wrong, but I don't remember that.

The defense is playing much faster now.. They were all over the field, and that showed with the Raiders not being able to move the ball on them.. I can't wait to see all of the starters playing for the whole game..
I agree Taylor needs to work on his moves, but i do think theres a huge difference between pass protection and run blocking. The o-line just didnt seem to get alot of push at the line.

what i liked seeing was dovonte edwards shut down moss when he was lined up against him.
i think he can turn into something special.

the o line didn't get much push at the line, but they did a phoenomenal job at pass blocking.
i didn't see brad running for his life which is good.
he'll stay alive longer that way.

both the 1st and 2nd team D line played extremely well against the raiders starters.
i'm not sure if its just that the raiders o line sucked, or the vikings dline was that good, probably a mix of the two.
james and udeze were tearing up those tackles. and the williams bro's were holding their own in the middle.

secondary played well too, brooks had nowhere to throw except for the one pass to moss. and the most surprising was the performance by the lb's.
they were good in pass coverage, and i saw lb's in the backfield more than a couple of times, meaning that the dline is doing their job opening up holes for the lb's.

overall the only criticism is the lack of run game, but i hope that will get better as the season progresses.
i blame that solelyon the line.
chester did a good job of turning nothing into something a couple of times, he just needs holes to run through

    One preseason game.
The o-line hasn't even come together yet and they haven't even began to implement a degree of complexity into the scheme, at gametime anyway.
    It will be fine.
The Vikes just need a few wins before the BYE and to concentrate on getting the kinks worked out and function as a unit.
It will take time, but it will be worth the wait.

Yeah, they are moving in the right direction. We have talent, & injuries are expected. We will be ok. We may not make the playoffs, but a winning record is what i expect at the least. The KRob issue hurts tho
