Thread: Vikes vs. Bucs Predictions

i am actually quite suprised that no one posted a prediction thread for our FIRST game. and if someone did I apologize. i will blame it on politics being discussed about Katrina and acquiring Krob all of the sudden.

Well, what do you guys think about this week? who wins, what score, which of our eight <sarcasm> recievers gets the TD's, how our RB's will do, etc?

Vikes win 27 to 14.

Edinger hits a couple 40 yarders.

Burleson and Wiggins score.

Our run game only puts up 80-90 yards total.

Vikes win 31 to 17

Tampa Bay Fumbles twice

C. Williams TB running back has 100+ yards rushing. (I'm not convinced the D will fare any better then they have in the past, at least not this early on)

Our rushing game leaves much to be desired.

Culpepper gets it done in the air.

TB has at least 5 false starts due to crowd noise and rookie lineman.

I'm predicting a good solid 5 sacks by the Vike's defense, Tampa has crap for a line and I believe we can contain Caddilac, our running game will probably be innefectual, but it won't matter since Daunte will move the ball.

By the way, webby, what happened to my avatar? It dissapeared and there's no option to add another one in my profile thingy.

I see the vikes running over Tampa, and the final score will be 35 to 10!!!


Hovan has the best game of his whole upcoming season, he records 1 tackle after a 3 yard gain by Bennett.

Vikes win 31 to 13. Michael Bennett ends the game with 54 yards rushing (including one 30-40 yard run) but he is ineffectual so Tice puts in Moore who plays the second half and gains 97 yards. Daunte has a great game as usual, and TT is our top receiver.

On defense, 6 or 7 sacks because their O-line stinks, and Fred Smoot gets his first INT as a Viking.

35 - 17 Vikes win!!

Daunte 21/26 for 3 td's and 315yds passing!!

Burleson 6 catches 120 and 1-TD!
