Vikes & Texans

Not sure how many of you watched the texans vs seahawks last nite but heres what i noticed in the game...the texans and the vikes Off are pretty similar right now...bad Oline, check...QB that makes bad decisions, check...bad play calling in critical situations, check...ohh it gets worse...for all of you that think we need to bring in more blockers to help protect Pep, did ya see what seattle did when the texans did that? they jam the 2 receivers at the line knowin damn well that a TE or a RB coming out of the backfield aint gonna get more then 5-10yrds down the field...it gets pretty easy to defend those kinds of plays and you end up gettin tons of coverage sacks or interceptions...heres a possible solution...AIR IT OUT...you have to atleast make the D think youre gonna throw the ball farther then 3-7 yds...makes me think back to the good ol days when our opponents safties would play 15 yds off the LoS...

I agree with you on every point but the last sentence. How are we supposed to air it out when the recievers are being jammed at the line of scrimmage like you said, and there's so much pressure up the middle?

C-Pep aired it out a few times to Travis Taylor yesterday....didn't do us any good.....

I remember a friend of mine in the 80's would say "The Vikings and the Broncos should play in the SB, someone has to win." Used ta pizz me off(what are friends for) but we have a better team than Houston.

We did air it out a lil and it bout got picked.. And we didn't have time for that really.. It would be nice though

Has anybody seen the Texans schedule? They play Indy twice in the next 5 weeks. Their only "cupcake" is Cleveland who they play in two weeks, then they have 2 or 3 straight games against teams with winning records. We are better than them and we will end up that way too!
