Vikes still #10 in power poll

Despite the loss to the Bears, the Vikes retain the #10 spot on the power poll.

Going toe-to-toe with the Bears was impressive.

After watching the game I was very pleased we stayed toe to toe with the Bears.
Realistically as a biased person I will say we should have won.
However, we beat ourselves.
If they would have beaten the Bears they would have moved up to the top 5.

To me power polls mean nothing although it's interesting to see how the so-called experts are rating the teams.
What really matters is the final records at the end of the year and whether or not the team will play in January or February.

I won't sleep until we are number 1!!!!

actually, i'm joking, but we could get to 7 i think. 7's as high as we'll get, due to our lose to Chi. If we beat both the pat's and seahawks.....then maybe 5, but unlikely

i should hope because we should have won that one, the main reason we didn't was cuz of the fumble at the end. I personally don't think that the bears are better then us, that was a close game against 2 good teams with only 3 points seperating us. i wouldn't be suprised if we went up in alot of polls cuz we showed we are for real when we stood up to 3 good teams and beat 2 of them. there is still another bears, vikes game left so watch out bears!!! but i don't pay alot of attention to the power rankings, half of them don't know what they are talking about, i have looked all over and i have predicted more games then any "expert" on the internet right now. so you can't really go by them. but it is nice to see us going up cuz it tells us they are starting to believe in us.

Thank GOD - now I can sleep tonight, knowing this meaningless poll has us meaninglessly ranked in the meaningless 10th position.
