    Re: Vikes ship finally finished

It's the flag ship of the Vikes! Nothing particularly historic about it....but it's sweet!

In Moorhead their is a replica Viking ship built by Robert Asp. After his death his family sailed it to Norway. It is quite remarkable how one man had a vision and did it.

My mother knew the family pretty good. If you are ever in Moorhead check it out. Here is the link!

Thanks Wilf! I'm really starting to like this guy. He seems to have a real love for doing things the right way. 1st example is when they gave donte a Raise for being one of the best players in the league. 2nd example is fixing the flagship for our Vikings. BRAVO! Keep up the good work Wilf!

What exactly is so special about that ship?
well it was starting to reflect the way the organisation was going - especially under the previous cheapskate owner.
Least now it looks 100% better and, as said in the article, marks the start of a new part of the Vikings history.
It might not be a big project to have done but does show that Zygi looks at many things in the organisation and not just the $$$

It was supppose to cost around $100,000 to restore the ship! That is the last I heard about the cost.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I thought it was 100,000 for the air conditioning to be fixed and 10,000 for the Viking ship.
