Thread: Vikes select Reggie Williams?

Today's ESPN mock draft has the Vikes selecting Reggie Williams, WR from Washington with the 19th pick. What do you all think about that?

If Udeze, Smith, Williams, and Vilma are all taken at the 19 spot, I sure hope the Vikes trade down. We don't need a receiver or a guard desperately, but we do need an end and an OLB. If none of the top guys at this position are there I'd like to see them trade down, and get somebody like Babin at end and maybe Boulware or Lehman at LB.

I read an interview that kfan did with scott studwell, and it sounds like he really likes reggie williams, as well as lee evans. I wouldn't mind seeing us get reggie, if udeze, smith, vilma and dj are all gone. I am not as high on evans though. I don't like using a first round pick on a guy who has had bad knee injuries. Our offense would be damn hard to stop with Reggie, Robinson, and Moss. Those are 3 big and talented WR's. I don't really see us using our 1st pick on a WR, with the fact that we need a DE and LB so badly, but if we do, we need to find a good LB and DE in rounds 2,3, and 4, which is definately possible.
