    Re: Vikes RB Situation

Make a push for Alexander......I mean, whats the worst that could happen, we get stuck with the guys we already have....sounds like a pretty good deal to me! I like Bennett at starter but I can't see him staying healthy for a whole year....he's like the Viking's Grant Hill...........

I think we should use both Kleinsasser and Bennett, Sorta like the steelers last year with Staley and Bettis.

Bennett almost due for some good luck, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. This year is a contract year for him and running backs usely turn it up a notch on contract years. Kleinsasser and Rosenthal are healthy again which should allow bennett to be more consistant. Plus his speed is something defenses have to take into acount when playing him, which can open things up for the offense. He compliments our vertical offense nicely when he's at his best anf Bennett's speed gives him the biggest up side of any of the backs which is why he will start his season, that is if he doesnt get hurt the preseason.

Like I've said before, Michael Bennett could not hit a hole if Angelina Jolie spread her legs for him.

He's a terrible inside runner, and we can't run power sweeps all game. It's alla bout the MeMo's baaaby

    Re: Vikes RB Situation

I guess I'll have to show it to you.

Games Moore had 15+ carries... did not start in the one against Tennessee.

Houston-(rush yards given up per game-115.2)-Moore rushed for 92 yards

New Orleans-(rush yards given up per game-140.8[wow that's bad])-Moore rushed for 109 yards

Tennessee-(rush yards given up per game-119.8)-Moore
    rushed for 138 yards

Yea I mean the kid's pretty impressive, but I don't think he should be rode like he's the second coming of Barry Sanders.
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

    Oh snap!

I didn't vote...I'm too torn. I've seen some very good things from Bennett when he's healthy, but I also think Mewelde is tremendous, but he was only tremenedous for 3 games, so I don't really know.

    Re: Vikes RB Situation

dude Bennett has a lot of burst, and I don't think the vikings would have took him in the first round if he couldn't hit the holes, him being injured the past 2 years may be a factor why he hasn't been doing so great at that.
