    Re: Vikes officially re-sign K-Rob

Hate to say it....but we released K-Rob on Saturday to avoid guaranteeing his contract. With the injury to Walker in GB he most likely will not clear waivers tonight and he will be a Packer tomorrow.

    Re: Vikes officially re-sign K-Rob

we already resigned him notes from article on kfan.

-- Wide receiver Koren Robinson was re-signed on Monday after being dropped from the Vikings roster on Sunday in a paperwork move. Robinson was not expected to play against Tampa Bay, so was released before the game by Minnesota to avoid guaranteeing his $540,000 salary this season. The Vikings now owe Robinson a pro-rated portion of his salary.

    Re: Vikes officially re-sign K-Rob

"The Vikings, as expected, re-signed receiver Koren Robinson this morning.

According to vice president of football operations Rob Brzezinski, the Vikings released Robinson on Saturday to avoid guaranteeing the receiver his 2005 base salary ($540,000). The move became more risky today when the Green Bay Packers expressed an interest in Robinson. The Packers lost their No. 1 receiver, Javon Walker, for the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament."

Does this mean it's a done deal & he is 100% a Viking or does he still have to clear waivers? Would one of you experts out there that are more familiar with how the waiver system works fill me in?

Well, KFFL was saying that the Vikes were'nt sure if he would start on sunday or not, so it sounds like we have him locked up.

I've heard that the Packers are interested in signing Jerome Pathon to help with their WR core and they could use that rookie WR Murphy a bit more than they wanted to.
