I agree with WoT on this; I like his resume.I like the pickup to be honest. While Atlanta dosnt scream success in the area of WR's, his resume is pretty good.At this point any coach at that position is an upgrade.Wyatt wasnt cutting it as we all know.
You can say that the ATL wide receivers lack talent, but they don't have exactly the best passer tossing them the pig skin.

I like the change myself, matter of fact, or Offense is and should be in a rebuilding stage right now, and with building something, you need a solid foundation, and that starts with coaching I believe.....hopefully this is just the start off filling in the blanks...

Ok, so let's say he's good; I ask, can a good coach make crappy receivers good?

Yes and No.I beleive that with every team your foundation is coaching.Coaching often determines the outcome of the draft. You could pick in the top 5 every year, but if your position coaches suck, then your picks have a higher chance of "sucking".
Can a good WR coach turn a bad WR good tho? Again Yes and No.If the WR has never reached his full potential, and is still somewhat young.Yes.I still think Williamson takes to much heat around here.I myself am not a BIG fan of him anymore, however I think that hes a project. He was a project when we drafted, and hes a project 2 years later.Hes got all the natural talent,he just needs more hard work and proper coaching.
On the flip side, guys like Travis Taylor are prime answers for your question. He was drafted high, and now hes on his way to being a nobody. Why? IDK,maybe somewhere along the way he never took the next step.I think where Williamson is at, he has to take the next step fast. The next step being whatever plagues them as a WR. (drops, routes, etc.)
Hopefully this guy can revamp this depleated WR unit.
Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Probably not, but he can't make them any worse. What we've got here is failure to communicate.

WilliamsonofTroy; whereas you make a decent point...I
don't think TWill takes too much heat here.
He is a #7 draft pick, he's making mucho dinero and he's not getting it done.
Comparing him to Travis Taylor is probably perfect...I hope he can be as good as Taylor someday.
I thought he was going to be a star when we drafted him, I defended him on this board earlier this year...now, I'm pretty sure he is a serious bust.
Good kid, like the story...will like it even more if somebody can teach him to catch; really don't care who it is.

Re: Vikes hire new receivers coach
ALL of our WRs need to learn to catch with their HANDS!!!
ALL of the WRs that do this are successful in the NFL...this is what makes
Marques Colston so good...he catches the ball with his hands, not against his catch.
The Vikes need to learn the drills that Colston used in college to increase his concentration and to focus on catching the ball with his hands and bringing it into his body.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

T-Will will be productive in time people. Next year he will prove to be a lot more reliable and will most likely bring the big play threat back. 2 years from now he's our leading reciever.
Wait, if there's cat food in this bag............................
I HAVE TO CHECK ON JOLLY!!!!
