Last Round......
We are certainly making great progress here.
Why don't we hire Arizona's running back coach?

Does anyone know where Darrell Wyatt is going? I have honestly never heard of this Stewart guy before.. Does anyone know what he is like?

Re: Vikes hire new receivers coach
Apparently he knows a kickass offense when he sees one.

SI was thinking he may go to Oakland!George Stewart, Falcons wide receivers coach. Intense and demanding, Stewart isn't one of those cookie-cutter autocrats who insist upon making people feel his power. Rather, he's a real human being who is honest, decisive and passionate. Think Terrell Owens is uncoachable? Stewart, who brought out the best in Owens without coddling him as an assistant in San Francisco, is proof that he isn't. Any team in need of a culture shock (are you listening, Al?) would be wise to turn to this hard-working motivator.
Wow.... A WR Coach from Atlanta, why don't we hire Art Shell?
Somebody needs to tell the peeps in the front office to put down the crackpipe.
Did you read that at all? Sheesh!
I raelly like this move, not necessarily because I think Stewart is the best thing since slice bread (because I don't know THAT much about him) but because our receivers were WEAK this year. Not only did they have touble getting seperation, but thay always seemed very timid. No one went and got the ball, they just waited for it to come to them. It just didn't seem like they stuck very well to their fundamentals. Maybe a new WR coach will help them out a bit.

ill give this guy a chance. im not going to judge him, just because i have never seen what he can do (ok, i have. but its not like i study the guys work or anything). but i hope we can get things turned around soon. we obviously needed a change, so lets give this guy a shot. ill admit, when i first saw that this guy was from ATL, i was really worried that we could be going backwards...but who knows. we will have to wait and see i guess...."God has blessed me tremendously. I'd be a fool to complain."

I'll second that. based on performance this year then the WR coach we had clearly wasn't doing his job. So at least now we have a change at this position - even if it is an enforced change. Think I'll wait to see how our WR's perform before I want to start complaining about this pickup.

Sometimes it's the small changes that have the greatest effect on things.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Vikes hire new receivers coach
I like the pickup to be honest. While Atlanta dosnt scream success in the area of WR's, his resume is pretty good.At this point any coach at that position is an upgrade.Wyatt wasnt cutting it as we all know.

Theres NOTHING greater then a Florida Gator!

Sounds like a step in the right direction!
THey can't be worse, can they??
Now all we need is a set of 4 or 5 jug machines so our WR can get balls shot at them from all angles, all day long!!!
(setup like the combine)Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
