Vikes on ESPN Classic at 2pm

2pm Eastern today ESPN Classic is featuring a 1/2 hour replay of our 11/20/1977 game against the Bears. The TiVo is set. I hope this gives some of you enough advanced notice.

Dont know how many of our brethren on here work out of their homes like I do. Or if not how many of you have the Slingbox like I got last week. I am so pumped this thing is so cool, now I can control, set, watch (whatever I want) from my TiVo on my laptop anywhere I have high speed interned access. How cool is that?

Anyone else have one of these. I have been wanting one for about 6 months when I first heard of the technology.

Anyway the vikes are on in 20 minutes.

I heard about that Slingbox thing - they advertise it all the time on KFAN in Minneapolis. Sounds like THE thing to have...

Its pretty cool I heard about it on Rush Limbaugh 6 months ago. It took a while for them to get in the stores but for as much as I travel it is cool to be able to watch and set my own TiVo from my hotel room at night.

It is basicly like the quality picutre of a internet streaming video it all depends on the speed connection you have on the receiving end as to how good it works.

Man!!! That slingbox thing sounds awesome.. Too bad I don't have a laptop or money to get one.. And when I did I wouldn't have money to get a slingbox.. How much are those?

They are $249. Ironically almost exactly what I had in CompUSA giftcards from some returns and rebates so I was just waiting until I got an extra TiVo installed in my home office so that I could attach it to that one.

You cant use it on your main TiVo unless no one else in your family watches it, because when you access it from the road and change channels on live TV or watch recorded shows the people watching the that TV at home would have to watch the same thing. So once I got the TiVo out here in my office then I was OK because it is rare my daughters are out here watching anything at night when I am traveling.
