If you actually watched more then one viking game, you can clearly see the defense get better week to week. Dont be mad becuase we actually have shut down corners, and you have "ok" corners who are made to look like gods becuase of your excellent front 4. All of us on this board know how good the bears D is and we give them respect. But you guys need to give credit where credit is do. This Viking's defense is finally gelling and becoming what we knew they would.

No I haven't watched more than one vikings game. The vikings are 1-5 against winning teams and 6-0 against bad teams. You guys have given up 54 more points than you scored. Of course the defense "looks" like it's improving. Compared to the numbers they gave up in the beginning of the season they look great now. Its all in the opponent.
We are beating the teams we should, but we also played a good amount of those winning teams on the road (Chi., Carolina, Atlanta and Cincinnati) so saying that we cannot beat good teams is not fair ... early in the season we definitely could not and definitely could not do it on the road, but to indicate that we are not playing exceptional football right now is just wrong ... just like if we said that you weren't we would be wrong. You have really only played one "quality" road game and that was against T.Bay. I have a feeling if we had Carolina and Atlanta on our turf and played N.Orleans and Cleveland away we may be a full two games better and tied with you.
Simply put, right now these two teams are EXTREMELY similar ... the Bears have caught a few more breaks and did not dig a hole early which is commendable, but they have some telling games coming up. The Vikes offense clearly has more weapons right now, and the Vikes defense is clearly not far behind right now either ... to take away from either team by saying they played this guy here or there blah blah blah is a disservice, complete homerism, incorrect and a sign that objectivity has been lost ...

As for those weaker opponents we've played during this streak. They are the same opponents you guys played also, except the Giants, which is a better team than anyone you've played this year, plus we beat the Browns which is something you can't say.

All in all, if you were to look at strength of schedule, the Vikings have had a tougher schedule than your team has faced.
I used to be indecisive, now I m not so sure!

All in all strength of schedule is fairly even, our team is 69-75 and their teams are 62-82, so ours is slightly better, but theirs will likely be higher or even by the end of the season with Pitt., Atl. and us on the schdeule compared to us having Balt. and St.L. ... the biggest difference is that they have two very quality wins against Carolina and T.Bay while we only have the one against the Giants. Both teams have a quality win one the road too ... VERY VERY even looking teams right now.

I was refering to games played to date.

I can see the Bears loosing all their remaining games quiet honestly. Its not that far fetched.
