    Hahaha.

Does anyone in Vegas just get their own sports show now? Seriously, I could do that too.

Wow ... this guy is all over the place. Off on his "facts" about All Day's rushing yards, Philip Rivers vs. the Vikes, T-Jack's TDs ... just a ton of mistakes in a very sloppy video. I cannot see any reason this guy would be listened to by anyone ... even the degenerates have better degenerates to listen to.
I don't even think that over/under on the Vikes in Vegas is 8 1/2 ... I would imagine it is in the area of 9 1/2 ... I could find it if I felt like it ... maybe later.
I personally have the Vikes at 11-5 and winning the division.

The Vikes are 8.5. I looked it up on the Vegas odds.

Where can I bet $100 that the Vikes will win MORE than 8 1/2 games?
    Vegas, most likely.
You can also go online. One site that I havn't used but have heard is reliable is sportsbook.com.
These are the odds that they give relating to the Vikings. In my opinion odds makers are the most accurate predictors of what will happen, mainly because they put money on it.

Catching up with everyone I think it is important to note that they are not saying the vikings will not win 9 games they are saying there is a 50% chance they won't win 9 games and a 50% chance that they will. Take the purple glasses off and that is pretty reasonable.

Well, I'm no gambler and I don't know anything about it. But the way I see it is that with the odds at 8.5 they are saying we will not win 9 games or more. Where am I wrong?
No thats not totally right. The O/U is set to make an equal amount of gamblers pick both sides. That is how they make their money. So they are saying, we think half of the gamblers bet on Minnesota to win 9 or more games. The other half thinks they will win 8 games or less.

This hack in particular is picking the under, but thats just him, not Vegas.

It's certainly not a bad line.

So now, all you people who are saying the Vikes will be NFC North Division champs with at least 10 wins are having doubts?
    LOL
I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. And besides, wouldn't the season be a lot more fun with a few bucks riding on the outcome?
Gambling lines are another game. 8.5 O/U is very reasonable.
I doubt they get over 10 wins this year and if a few things go sour they could finish at 0.500.
I think everyone would bet the over on this one, on this site anyway.
My last year prediction for the season was within a couple games of 0.500....easy to hit.
This year I'm going with >0.500, but, I don't think it will be by much.
A Prophet you are not, 500? Are you kidding me? If we go 500 or just a game over 500 i want Childress head on a stick. No reason what so ever this team cant go 12-4 11-5 barring any sorta major injuries to a impact player.
    Re-read what I said.
I said >0.500, but not by much.
If you want me to put a specific call on it I will go with 10-6.
That will be good enough to make the playoffs.
The playoffs are a whole different story, new season.

There will be plenty of people that will give up on the season if the first game of the season is an L.
    Watch.
I'm not of the panicking type.
Mark the thread and revisit it at the end of the season.
You will bow before me and garnish my avatar with roses.
That sound alot more realistic, i'll take 10-6 any day. That will put us in the playoffs easily in the NFC. I really think there capable of sneaking a few more wins in though then that. I will not call the season a bust if we start 0-2 or 0-3 but this board will light up like a X mas tree if we end up starting 0-2. I may not have a high post count but been here longer then most lurking around and getting my Viking info to know it will be the end of the world to most if we start 0-2..lol
lol, you can bet that there are a few that will resurface, as they always do, after a loss.
Spew their venom and then disappear into the shadows the following week when the Vikings pull their heads out of their asses.
I hate when the Vikings lose, but, quite frankly, the board is more fun after a loss.
The illogical come out in droves.

Yeah ... just did some legwork myself. Most places have the O/U at 8.5 on the Vikings (some have climbed to an even 9) but almost all of them started at 8 wins even. Look for it to continue to climb as the season gets closer. They will have too many people bettering the OVER on that and will need some under bets. I imagine it will be an even 9 or 9.5 by season start ... so get in now while the getting is good!

Yes, it will be adjusted when the betting gets too heavy on one side.
If you are a true fan you would just direct deposit your checks in Vegas.
