    I heard about this on KFAN this morning too.

    I absolutely don't think that Randy Moss would be the answer.
    If I had more confidence in our QB, then I would go with Moss.
    But I just don't know if any of our QBs have either the deep accuracy (TJack) or the arm strength (Booty) to properly utilize Moss.

    I would rather pick up Tark, Cunningham, or Moon.
    Cunnigham or Moon over Tommy Kramer?

    Maybe Moon, but his best years were wayyyyyy behind him when he came here.

    IF forced to pick ONE player - I think I'd go with Yary.
    MAYBE Joey Browner.

    Re: Very interesting question...

    I'd take Tark.
    It's our position of greatest need and he was fun to watch.
    The only knock on him was he was too short.
    I think his stature helped him wiggle away from some tough spots.

    I think he did...he was unbelievably strong.

    Re: Very interesting question...

    Cool thread.
    If I were to pick one player for selfish reasons, it would be Joey Browner... favorite of all time.

    If I was picking for need, Tark.
    Instantly makes a superbowl contender.

    Since we are talking about Viking greats... I just found out Chuck Foreman AND Ron Yary are going to be at a local sport memorablia store this weekend for autographs. How cool is that?

    The Reds clinched things with a 15-9 volleyball win.
    We lost the Superteams competition because of volleyball?!? I'm glad I didn't remember that! ;D

    Who would you want on this year's team?

    I'm picking Korey Stringer.
    With all due respect to a man who died way too young, he's not even in my top 10, probably not in my top 20.

    I'd much rather have:
    * Cris Carter
    * Anthony Carter
    * Sammy White
    * Ahmad Rashad
    * Randy Moss
    * John Gilliam
    * Joey Browner
    * Carl Lee
    * Matt Blair
    * Jim Marshall
    * Alan Page
    * Carl Eller
    * Ron Yary
    * Ed White
    * Mick Tinglehoff
    * Jack Del Rio
    * Steve Jordan
    * Fran Tarkenton
    * Tommy Kramer

    About the only position where I do NOT think that a Viking from the past would be an improvement is tailback.
    Maybe LG.
    Agree, nice to see you giving Ed White some love.
    He is ignored too often for my likings.
    Ed White was a monster.

    * Gary Zimmerman
    * Randall McDaniel
    * Paul Krause
    * Jeff Siemon

    I'm sure I'm missing LOTS here.

    =Z=
    That is my pick
    Rosie O'Donnell is a dude!
