All the pieces to the puzzle seem to be coming together.
he's only playing the slot in 3 wide sets marrdro!!.. when they go 2 wide receivers b wade is in there...
I hear ya my friend, however, that has been dictated by the health of El Syd.
Now that he is seeing more playing time I would anticipate seeing more 3 wides.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

i hope so.. but if not.. i'd rather see more 2 wide with less wade and more sid than any consistent amount of wade unless it's third down... base sets need to have Rice in there...

I'm pretty sure that Wade and Rice evenly split time in 2 wide sets. Either way Wade has seen many more targets than Rice even when Rice is healthy.

Yes... I'm going to take the credit on this one.

I think it's fairly obvious that the players and coaches of the Vikings regularly log-on to PPO to read my viewpoints and suggestions. They have obviously been listening to me about getting CT involved, putting Benny Sapp on the field, letting Robison see more time, and starting T-Jack again.

So, I'll accept all praise for the Vikings' success at this time. Thanks!

Wade was a Bears draft pick. I live in Chicago. Co-workers hate me because we have Wade and Berrian while they have Rashid Davis and Devin Hestor (who is admittedly playing better on offense but not as consistent as Wade and Berrian at the moment).

If that were true, why is Childress still here?

    Yep

Rice has seen action in 9 games & has caught 14 passes.

Wade has seen action in 13 games & has caught 44 passes.

A great slot player. Expectations were way too high when he came here, but now he has settled into that slot role and excelled at it.
He only plays slot when we go 3 wide.... other than that he starts opposite of BB.... I'm still not a fan, although, he's made 3 big catches the last 2 weeks... I still don't think he's better than a 4th receiver!.. IMO!
He is better than 99% of the leagues 4th WRs.

The one thing that is a surprise to me is Allison. I thought he was going to emerge this year but he has benn all but silent this year except a few offensive PI calls

Wade also leads the team in receptions... the kid is great, he runs under the radar.
