Versatility keeps Wade on the field

    http://www.twincities.com/vikings/ci_11249423

Bobby Wade isn't the fastest or flashiest Vikings player.

The wide receiver barely registers in catches (tied for 28th) and receiving yards (29th) in the NFC. Yet Vikings coach Brad Childress appreciates Wade's toughness, quarterback Tarvaris Jackson admires his "quarterback's mind," and tight end Visanthe Shiancoe calls him the "unsung hero" of the offense.

Love for Wade in the local press. I guess they are all yutz's.

A hard working blue collar type that sneaks up on you and makes plays. Every team needs these types of guys with the versatility and attitude that they can do it.

A great slot player. Expectations were way too high when he came here, but now he has settled into that slot role and excelled at it.

The thing that sticks out with this guy is his max effort mentality, whether blocking or running a rout. Lack of effort is contagious, i.e. "street moss", but so is max effort. That's one of the things that impresses me the most about this team right now, they work hard and don't quit, and now it's all starting to come together. Good days to be a purple pillager.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

Yup, as are the players who are instructed to lie & say only good things about their teammates.

He only plays slot when we go 3 wide.... other than that he starts opposite of BB.... I'm still not a fan, although, he's made 3 big catches the last 2 weeks... I still don't think he's better than a 4th receiver!.. IMO!

Glad to see BB and El Syd healthy so that B-wade can play his natural position.
All the pieces to the puzzle seem to be coming together.

Yes... I'm going to take the credit on this one.

I think it's fairly obvious that the players and coaches of the Vikings regularly log-on to PPO to read my viewpoints and suggestions. They have obviously been listening to me about getting CT involved, putting Benny Sapp on the field, letting Robison see more time, and starting T-Jack again.

So, I'll accept all praise for the Vikings' success at this time. Thanks!
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Yea, I like how they got Gordon hurt so they could get Benny some playing time.
