If he needs rest, then yes we should rest him. If he can play I want him to start. I do not think Holcomb is ready but if he knows the basics I would rather see him in there because if Bollinger plays we are in big trouble.

That was a great read that makes alot of sense to me.....

I would also like to see Holcmb start this week, while TJ gets back to 100 % healthy...

We need a spark to come from somewhere this week, maybe Holcomb can provide just the thing....

I'll agree, he needs more experience, and if he's healthy, should probably be our starter.
BUT, the leash is shortening...a few more of those chuck it out there for anybody hucks, and somebody else needs to go in...if you can't get it to a receiver or out of bounds, take the sack, don't just give it away.
Our WRs are running routes, the enemy safeties are looking for it.
Pretty difficult to find anything to disagree with on any of your posts. But I have seen the ' take the sack ' statement a few times by others this week as well.

I disagree with taking the sack. Always take the sack rather than forcing it or throwing it up for grabs. But throwing the ball away is a better option that shows good decision making. So I would rather say, learn to throw it away.
I don't want him to think taking a sack is ever a good thing.Although, admittedly, a sack is far better than an interception.
So what you are trying to say is...
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"
