Since the NFL lockout is overtaking the regular offseason, there isn't a whole lot of football news to be had. However, thanks to all of you here at Dailynorseman, I have a place to read others opinions as well as share my own. My latest brainchild is a series of posts titled "Under the Microscope". The purpose of these posts will be to familiarize myself (and all of you) with some of the lesser known players on the Vikings roster that could potentially have an impact this season.
The first player I would like to take a closer look at is the newly acquired Emmanuel Arceneaux.

A few things I noticed.....he sure likes to work underneath (might be a good thing when it comes to having a young QB under center)......and he sure makes some nice catches on balls that aren't thrown real well.
Could this guy be the steal of the century?
Re: Under The Microscope: Emmanuel Arceneaux (WR)
Good to see you back Marr! This guy is similar to Marques Colston and I think if we get Rice back, we have Sidney Rice (Deep Threat), Percy Harvin (slot) and E.A. could be the guy doing our dirty work up the middle.

From what I've seen of Arceneaux then we could have uncovered a gem from the CFL. He is big, strong and looks to have great hands.
