Yeah, picking up DSmith looks like it was slick move. I'm not sure if Tank will ever be the same. Multiple knee injuires are tough to rebound from. Each time the knee ligaments get weaker

There might not be any ligament damage with this because Tank broke his left knee cap which is different from tearing your ACL, so it is possible that Tank can come back from this and have a solid knee and have a good long career for the Vikings.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

    Re: Tank Williams injury

Normally this would worry me but with the depth this team has I'm not in panic mode just yet. Sharper, Dwight, and Offord is still far from chump change. Plus it's still early but Greg Blue has been impressive with his hitting. I really believe him and Griffin will both be very solid for us.

With that said I will miss seeing Tank. As others have said it's been awhile since we had a saftey thats not afraid to knock the hell out of someone.

This makes the Dwight Smith move look a lot better ... but still sucks to know we won't have Tank

Amen. This why depth at position is sooo important. The only position that I am worried for depth about is QB, but with out massive OL, I am not terribly concerned about BJ getting hurt.

THIS SUCKS! Thank God for the Dwight Smith signing...but it certainly hurts our depth even if Smith turns out to be just as good.
