Ty Law: "I no longer want to be a Patriot"

Haven't you been paying attention? We have the 'best safety tandem in the league!'

And uh, Williams is OK, but if you think he's at Law's level you're iucking fnsane

I think Walker and his Agent would commit suicide if this happened. Don't see it. Would like it ..but I really don't see it.

Ty Law: "I no longer want to be a Patriot"

I think the Pats will try and trade him away, but if they don't he'll be on the list of June 1st cuts. If by some weird stroke of luck he is released and not traded or kept on, then we should go for him.

For Law? I don't think they would take that..........but it would be sweet if they did!

Ty Law: "I no longer want to be a Patriot"

ty law is a great corner, however....
    a. he's gonna cost a lot and would put way too much money into the cornerbacks we have.
b.williams is a great corner in his own right. not quite ty law, but he's pretty damn good.
    c. say we got law for 4 or 5 years (he wouldn't accept a 1 year deal). what happens when williams comes up for contract? i for one want to keep him, being a good young corner. that's a hell of a lot of money to put into corners. it's gotta come from somewhere. can you say cuts and salary cap hell?

Ty Law: "I no longer want to be a Patriot"

We won't have to worry about the Salary Cap for a long while. If Bresinksi stays in charge, maybe never again. The guy is a genius. You are right though. When you have somneone who looks like he could be a really good conerback, and in a league where good CBs are a rarity, do you bring in a older guy who is REALLY good and live it up for a couple of years. Or do you grut it out a couple of years and have a really good CB for 8 years? There is a risk in both. If he is released, and eh'll except a decent offer from us, then get him, but keep Williams around also. If we have to trade. I'd rather move up in the draft and get Udeze than get Law.

I seriously don't think we have the cap room cause we useded alot of itto pay winfield's bonus for all 5 years, i think we got like 8-10 mill left in cap room, i like brian williams and wouldn't trade him straight acroos for ty law, law is great but williams is 25, williams is one of my favorite players he needs to be on the field, and irvin and kelly will serve as good backups, once again we are not the redskins we got plenty of CB's
