C'mon, Greenway never touched the facemask. Bush decided to take a look behind him, and when he did, he dropped the ball. So he claimed facemask to try save face.LMAO.
Greenway's face mask was pretty bad.
I completely understand him getting the fine.
C'mon.
Well, maybe I was getting a beer out of the fridge on that play!

Greenway cleary got the face mask but Bush also fumbled the football and he knows he's got to hang onto it. It wasn't the only fumble either, he also had one later in the game that his team recovered for him.
As far as missing a facemask call it can happen, Vs the Colts on our goline stand in which Adia was called in, a Colt player clearing had ahold of Tyrell Johnson's face mask twisting his head and preventing him from helping on the play.

I think if they would have made the call right after the play Greenway wouldn't have been fined. We see a couple facemasks a game usually and I don't recall fines for everyone(or even the bad ones). I think it is the league saying we screwed up and since we can't change the outcome of the game we're gonna fine you. Not complaining though since that play was a game changer in the vikings favor, Greenway should get a little bonus from the team to help him pay the fine.LMAO.

Winfield needs to lead by example. I don't like the no celebrations rules but they are in place and Winfield as a veteran should know them and obey them. Luckily it's only a fine, next time it could be 15 yards.

That has alot to do with this along with the non-call.

Great point. It has everything to do with it. Maybe not fair to Tyrell. But understandable."jargomcfargo" wrote:

Re: Two Vikes Fined
Change the title to 3.
Ferguson was also fined;
Winfield, Greenway and Ferguson fined by NFL
twincities.com
Monday night was expensive for three Vikings.
Cornerback Antoine Winfield, receiver Robert Ferguson and linebacker Chad Greenway were all fined by the NFL.....

Re: Two Vikes Fined
Greenway was ONLY fined because the call was missed on the field. The Winfield fine is ok by the rules, but that does not change that the rules are completely ridiculous.
