Two games in and it's clear: Jackson isn't ready for this

Jim Souhan: Two games in and it's clear: Jackson isn't ready for this

For now, Kelly Holcomb might be the Vikings' best option at quarterback.

Vikings coach Brad Childress says he's convinced Tarvaris Jackson is "more than ready" to be an NFL quarterback......

Childress says it has taken Holcomb a while to master the playbook, which explains a lot: The plays apparently are written in Sanskrit.

Not that it should matter. Even if he needs a U.N. translator, a laminated Ouija board and a Bill Belichick decoder ring to call a dive play, Holcomb should start this week.
LMAO!
I liked that remark!

Great article.

Jim Souhan is a pompus jerk.....We may need to run more, but you can't give up on T-Jack after a bad game. If he is able to go this week we'll see how he responds after last weeks poor effort.

You have to see if T-Jack can rebound and learn from his mistakes.

It did not seem to me that he was giving up on him Tide.
He was simply stating the obvious.
T-Jack is in over his head.
He is not ready to be a starter at this level.
He needs time to mature under a veteran quarterback.
Anyone who has seen his four starts has to realize that he is not ready to start in the NFL.
I seriously have to question if he can ever play at this level.

Great.
Another groundhog day thread where everyone has to reiterate the same points they have made a couple dozen times before.

Except those were all in different thread subjects such as Leftwich, Fire Childress, Start Kelly Holcomb & any other thread that went off topic.

I couldn't post this in any of those. It might have been relevant to what was discussed, but irrelevant to the original thread subject.

Jeeeeeezzzzzz.
What the hell am I missing here?
We knew he wasn't ready this year.

Has the instant gratification guys took over after only two games?

Isn't it an agreed upon fact that he is pretty damn green but has all the tools to be an effective QB in this league after he gets some experience?

Fix our OL problems, give the kids some time to at least read a defense and get the ball out before we go ahead and shit can him.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

It's funny that last year they were begging to throw him in knowing full well he was still "green".

"Anyone's better than Johnson", they said.

"He's our saviour", they said.

"Let him learn & perfect his skills on the field", they said.

"Sure he'll make mistakes", they said, "But he'll learn as he gains more experience."

Well now that they got exactly what they wanted & what they expected, they are calling for his head.

LMAO!
