I was just wondering how people felt about his progress and production as a wide reciever so far this year. I made a comment a few weeks ago saying I thought he was a bust. Because of that I was really cut up by the veterans on this site.

Considering who he's had throwing to him, he is doing just fine. I can't wait for more...I love the Brad is flinging it out there long for him.
Besides, he is one of the top rookie receivers in production. Can't argue with results even with the QB who couldn't find him open.
i'm happy with his progress this season he's leading all WRs in catches and receiving yards i believe. seems he still needs to get used to how physical some of the CBs, i've seen him drop a couple of balls with a CB hanging all over him.
im happy with progress so far. i didnt expect randy moss the 2nd, and they said they'd bring him along slowly and i beleived them.
soo, with that said, he is one of the top rookie WR's in the nfl.
his stats would be alot better if our offense was better. right now, nobody is getting good recieving stats. burleson, K rob, M rob, travis taylor, jermain wiggins all have low stats. so obviously a rookie WR is not going to be lighting it up either.
True. My biggest knock on him is that I believe his adjustments to the ball when its in the air aren't great. (Probably a result of watching Randy make it look easy over the years)
You should be more worried about Burleson than Williamson. He is suppose to be carrying some weight and has been riding the injury bug and playing hurt and not producing.
I think he is right on track. I really never expect much production from a rookie. So, I am pleasantly surprised.
I have been happy with his production ... I would like to see him step it up and make some big plays the second half of the season.
i cant wait to see what he does when he is a full time player. he will probably never be a number one as long as k rob and burleson are on this team.
I think the biggest thing he needs to work on, and unfortunately I think this is something that can't really be coached, it's simply an instinct and you have it or you don't, is adjusting while the ball's in the air.
The kid's got lightning speed, but he isn't making the right adjustments and judging the ball properly resulting in long incompletions. This is something that Moss was a master of.
He's also got average hands, which would be better if he could adjust to the ball better, but this is something that obviously can be worked on.
If he improves his hands, and is able to learn how to adjust to the ball when it's in the air, he'll be a very dangerous receiver.
I don't exactly think he's the second coming of Moss, or even Torry Holt, but I think he's got a chance to be a productive receiver in this league for years to come and hopefully garner a couple of pro bowl caliber years.
