Troy Williamson WASTE OF A #1 Pick
Coulda improved our linebackers, or even our line instead, we draft him when we dont even need a receiver. He better start showing something if he wants to make me happy and im sure many other Viking Fans.

Worst trade ever......since the late eighties. With that out of the way he has one more season in my mind to prove he's not a bust. Normally I'd say give him more time but #7 overrall needs to contribute in his first two years.

Way too early to tell. One season and of all seasons, our 'O' has suffered and you expect Williamson to jump start it. WAKE UP! Sorry to jump on you but come on. You need to LOWER your expections of what he is accomplishing this year. The NFL is a HUGE step from college. The players are faster, stronger, and you play a longer schedule. I think you need to look at the overall picture and settle down a bit. He is coming along just fine.

Re: Troy Williamson WASTE OF A #1 Pick
one just can't expect to have williamson come in and play like randy moss did his first nfl season....maybe down the road the fans can label him a bust but not this early in his career.

The only LB position we may have needed to work on is in the middle and there were no middle linebackers at the 7th pick.

I dont expect him to make the probowl, but i do expect him to make plays, and he's only made a couple the whole season. I just think we coulda easily made a better pick than that.
