He didn't work out for us.
He is gone.
Maybe the change will help him live up to his potential, maybe it won't.
My guess is that he will make a few nice plays but will drop a few key passes at some point this year but again, who the hell cares.
Probably the only ones who will track this are a few "Anti Chiller" fans and yutz newsman who want to stir the pot.
:
I post the news whether it be good, bad or indifferent. I simply provided the article this thread was started about & a link to another.
Yutz newsman are the guys who actually right the articles.
Sorry you took that the wrong way (even though I tried to keep you from getting confused).
Newshounds are the posters of the info, not yutz newsman.

If there is somebody who only held us down last year it was him.
Now all of a sudden he plays like a big shot and then i'm getting somewhat frustrated that he now is playing good.
Ofcourse it remains to be seen because it's not pre-season yet
He is doing exactly what he did in every camp he did with us.
WOW the coaches with some nice grabs and then during a game when he is under a bit of pressure he cracks.
Again, even if he does put together a nice season, I could care less.
He is out of the division, we got a nice looking kid with his pick and he is gone.
The only ones that will make anything out of this are fans who don't like the Chiller (even though it was a staff decision to get rid of him) and some local sports hacks who have an axe to grind.
T-will is old news IMHO.
as you may or may not know i am not a fan of chiller or the KAO. i do however, agree with this move by him and the FO. there was no sense in taking up a roster spot w/ a player the coaching staff (and the fans) had lost all confidence in.
i agree with you marrdro. he is GONE. he is no longer a viking and there is no sense worring how he will perform for someone else. besides, all teams talk up their players prior to roster cuts. everyone is a potential all pro at this point in the off season. Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Re: troy williamson a star.....
I bet you could find this same article last year and the year before. It seems he learns how to catch again in the offseason, then cracks when the pressure is on in a real game scenario. T-will emerging as a star is about as likely as me emerging as a pro figure skater.

Maybe we should start a T-Will vs Berrian thread.

Re: troy williamson a star.....
Everyone thinks this is big news?
???
Each and every year he was with the Vikings he had great camps.
So in other words it is the same old Troy.
Old news.

but you are REALLY starting to beat that to death man.
Almost every other post of yours has something about "people hating The Chiller", we all know there are haters, there always will be.
Don't need to point it out all the time lmao.
Besides, you're the only person in this thread that really has even mentioned Childress :P
Believe it or not, its possible to hate just Troy Williamson without hating Brad Childress

lotsa smilies
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
