Hey Ned, what do you think troy williamson's stats will be for 2006-2007? lol

My perdiction is, 950 yards, and 8 tds...
My perdiction for 2006-2007 is 1300 yards, 14 tds...

Dead on on both. With a better defense we wont have to pass as much and Burleson is gonna be the guy so he will get the lions share of whatever there is.

2006-07

I'm going to say he will surely be an impact receiver for us. 1280 yards and 14 td's.....

While I love to see the high hopes, that just isn't happening. Troy Williamson probably hasn't caught 14 TDs in his entire college career. There's no way that he steps into the NFL and catches half that many. He's not an effective red zone receiver, so I doubt that he'll ever catch 10 in a season in his entire career.

My predictions:
Year 1 - 650 yards, 3 TDs
If he keeps his head on straight after everyone rips him for not being the next Randy Moss, I can see him posting the following numbers:
Year 2 - 950 yards, 6 TDs
Year 3 - 1,200 yards, 8 TDs

look at his job. run straight and catch all the deep balls. just say he gets 5 20yd passes every game. not too unreasonable. granted they wont not always for a td, thats 100 yards a game. he does that for 10 of his 16 games (hoping he wont get hurt) and that 1000yds! then say 2 of every one of those 5 go for tds. that 10 tds. i know thats unlikly but according to his job his numbers are giong to be relatively high because 1) culpeppers throwing it too him, and 2) thats his job in our offense.

obviously he wont be putting up those numbers every game, but im just throwing out stuff to make some people realize his numbers are giong to be high.

Catching 5 20 yard passes a game is fairly unreasonable. the guy will get 700-800 yards and 5 TDs this year, and break the 1000 yard mark next year.

For this year... over on yards, about right on touchdowns, possibly under.
