Physically, Troy Williamson is in Minnesota with the Vikings. But mentally, the wide receiver is still in South Carolina with his family..........

Bet Troy has a good game putting all his grief and anger into his effort this week against the Pack. I see him having a big game.

Re: Not so classy of a move... IMO.

I read that story last night and while I was reading it I thought that Williamson is done. He'll stay on the roster this year, of course and may be used as "trade-bait" but his time as a Viking is as good as done IMHO

I understand his disappointment, but you're getting paid millions of dollars, and he got a whole week off, you make sacrifices.

Then again, it's not like he's going to do a lot this week anyway, I'd rather he not start.

At this rate he'll be gone after this season anyway, maybe he knows it too.

It is his job... Most other jobs wouldn't let you take 2 weeks off after your Grandmother died. I can understand not being happy in his situation but to have one of your players gone for a significant amount of time when he could technically be playing is stupid from a business standpoint.

Not many of these (Spoiled Brat) Players are willing to make any sacrifices these days. Still.....there is hope and I do see some non-selfish players throughout the NFL, gthat play with Heart and Care about the Team and the Game itself first.....but they are a dying breed.

    Cheers!

I was disappointed by this story too.
Sure, all that sucks and I feel for him!!!
But, a week off is more than any of the rest of us would likely get in the situation, so, back to work!
(Which is always a four-lettered word in my book)

Well, last week, Ferg and Rice and Allison did all right.
    Wade played on an injury.
Yup, doesn't look too much like TWill is gonna stick...wonder what he's scheduled to make the next few years?

Imagine if Tice had gone with Merriman there...D'oh!

    trade bait!
    Ha Ha, that is funny.
What do you think we could get for him?
I guess we could trade him to the Packers for a pound of cheese and a case of beer.

Maybe this way he can blame his 2 catches for 12 yards or whatever he gets, on his heavy heart.

I don't think Nike can "help" with that one though.
