Troy Willamson to start tomorrow ......

and will be the primary kickoff returner. It's on the Pioneer Press site, didn't feel like signing up.

Also was on profootballtalk.com:

Rookie WR Troy Williamson will be the primary kick returner for the Vikings on Sunday.

Good to hear .... time for him to earn his money somehow.

Me either. Do you mean he will just be starting kick returner? Or will he be a starting receiver?

Troy is like our 4th receiver, IMHO we need to test this guy out sometime rather than just pay him to "learn".

I don't think he will be 2nd or 3rd WR yet.. But that's cool he gets to do kick returns

Return to sender: Rookie receiver Troy Williamson had just 23 yards on two kickoff returns in the season opener. But he is expected to be the primary kickoff returner Sunday, after an encouraging week of practice.

"I was comfortable with it in college, but it's a different level," Williamson said. "The more and more reps I get, the more and more confidence that's building inside of me. In not too long, you'll see me break a couple, hopefully this week."

Debuts: Two players are expected to make their NFL debuts.

Defensive end Erasmus James, the second of the team's two first-round draft picks, likely will be active this week, along with first-year guard/center Anthony Herrera, who missed more than four weeks because of a leg infection.
